Opening Prayer
Merciful God,Time and again you call me back.
Time and again you draw your people to yourself. Give me the courage to name my failings. Give me the hope I need to believe that I can change. Help me to have confidence that I can work with others to renew the face of the earth with You by our side. Help me to persevere when I feel overwhelmed and trust that in each choice a ripple goes outward and contributes to the whole.
I ask this in the name of Jesus, who has reconciled all of creation to Himself.
